Their friendship looks beautiful from afar, but up close, it's riddled with envy and the grip of old grudges that won't let them go. Baikhao befriends Tulip with the intention of taking revenge for what Tulip's father did to her. She won't stop until justice is served for her father who killed himself and her mother who went insane after losing her younger sibling in a miscarriage. Tulip will be used as a tool to destroy her own family. Baikhao has help in the form of a high school friend Tao who has had a crush on her all these years and will do anything for her—even kill. Tulip has Namo, a classmate in the same major she mistakenly thinks is gay but is actually in love with her.
